2013 CropShare farm days announced!
Yes, this could be you! |
Here’s when you can join in the fun on the farm this year!
When you come to a farm day, you can join in either for the morning session, from 9.30am, the afternoon session, from 1.30pm, or both sessions. Whichever session you come to, we recommend joining in our wonderful shared lunch which is 12.30pm-1.30pm.
At lunchtime, you can share in the farm’s harvest by choosing some fresh seasonal farm produce to take home with you. This will depend on the time of year, and other rewards such as visiting the new lambs are available in the hungry gap months early in the year! And of course you’ll be rewarded with knowledge of how to grow tasty organic vegetables, and have fun with our lively gang of volunteers everytime you come to a CropShare farm day!
To learn more about what we do, and to sign up in advance to the farm days below, come along to our information evening at CB1 Cafe, Mill Road 7.30pm Thursday 4th April. If you can’t make this but are interested and have any questions, just email us cambridge@cropshare.org.uk.
All the farm days will have a write up on this blog, so you can see what you missed out on!
To find out what’s going on at the farm when its not a CropShare day, check out Farmer Pauls new blog here. You can also follow his musing and mantras on twitter @waterlanderman.
Can you put these dates up as an actual page with a navigation tab at the top (Farm Dates tab next to Sign-up sheet maybe?), rather than just as a blog post. This would make them easier to find as the year progresses, and this blog post gets older and older.
