The first-ever national CSA Sign Up Day in the UK is on Wednesday 1 March 2017. Community Supported Agriculture is a way of farming where people in the community sign up to receive a regular share of sustainable, local produce. For us at Cambridge CropShare this means a seasonal share in the Waterland Organics veg and fruit harvest, and much more besides – experience growing a range of field and polytunnel crops on a real 65 acre organic farm, tasty shared lunches, a glourious day out in the countryside and plenty of laughs.

Ben Raskin CSA Network UK board member said “Getting involved in a community farm is a great way to meet new friends, eat fresh local produce and ensure that our farmers are still here growing food for us for years to come. ”

There are plenty of other like-minded people across the UK who are committed to:

  • eating healthy foods;
  • preparing tasty meals for their families;
  • supporting their local farmers;
  • reducing their impact on the environment;
  • learning something new; and
  • being adventurous in the kitchen.

Find out more and see which farms are taking part and what special offers are available here. Of course you can sign up to the new season Waterland Organics CSA if you would like regular deliveries of veg shares to your place.

And why not celebrate by signing up to our first lot of Farm days, announced recently?
